The hotel is clean, cute, calm. I loved my stay. Ruth & Peter are just adorable and the porch with the view is a heaven of peace.

What an amazing place to stay everybody there so friendly. Beautifully decorated to show how old the place is with lots of charm. Rooms are spotless beds very comfortable. Breakfast the best I have ever had. If you want a hotel with a warm welcome you can't go wrong at Churston Manor Brixham and not over priced.
Wonderful atmospheric building obviously needs a bit of money spent eventually but still lovely. Unfortunately some of the waiting staff were very flat and the service slow.The outside terrace could have been charming but was untidy and felt like a neglected space. Some attention to detail wouldn't cost much but would've lifted the experience another star for us.

Does what it says on the tin. Currently undergoing building works as the site is expanding (July 2018), but this is non intrusive. Very good location for Paignton and Brixham, but you'll need your car to get out and about. There is a Beefeater next door, but I opted to visit the JD Whetherspoons in Paignton instead, which offers a comparable menu for half the price.
Return stay and loved it again. Rooms spotless and comfy. Housekeeping staff very efficient! Restaurant next door great so gets very busy so best booked I guess.

I've been visiting this chain of Pubs for many years. The Ship is usually lovely. Of all my memorable steaks I've had 3 of the top 4 have been from here. Good staff, comfortable surrounds. Excellent food at a great price. I look forward to visiting again soon.

Friendly place to eat. Clean and tidy. Not too long a wait for food. Eight women and no complaints. That should tell you something! Even better when you can use money off vouchers that come through the door.
My regular for great food & great service. Sunday meal is also very enjoyable and worth a try. Had many family celebrations here and some good value offers always available.

We very much enjoyed our meal at The Weary Ploughman which has been extensively updated since I was last there 30 years ago! There is a very welcoming feel, the background music is of good quality and not too loud or too quiet, the food was very enjoyable. The menu a bit confusing and would have liked more fish choices but what we chose was very tasty, good value and good portion size and very nicely presented. Full restaurant on a Wed night which was great, and pleasant and good service by all staff. Would recommend if in the area and I look forward to going back when in Devon myself
Great Sunday dinner yesterday, choice of Beef, Pork or Chicken. The veg was great, meat top quality. If we were here for longer than a week we would be back next weekend for Carvery again! We are going to try squeeze a lunch in later this week, to see if the usual menu is as good as the Sunday lunch. 👍🏻

Excellent location 2nd year visiting. Clean tidy well maintained. Excellent facilities. Projector a nice touch in cherry cottage. Pool was warm (solar heating) due to hot weather. Only minor negative was the horseflies attacking us. But not the owners fault.
Amazing weekend. Owners are super friendly, they even posted my forgotten flipflop. House is absolutely beautiful, everything is gorgeous quality, beds super comfy, gorgeous countryside location. 100% recommended.

Lovely quiet and clean b&b very close to the beach. Full english breakfast cooked very nice and lots of choice besides. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We will definatly return in the future.

Lovely people great breakfast nice stay
My two kids and I stayed here in August 2016 and we had the BEST week! There is so much to do around Paignton, but staying at The Ratcliffe topped our holiday off. It's ideally located - roughly a 1 minute walk to the seafront in one direction and the town in the other. Kevin and Anna were SO warm and friendly and accommodating, always available for any advice on where to go and what to do. We stayed in the family room, which was lovely and clean and comfortable; perfect to relax in after our VERY busy days out! Oh, and the breakfasts were YUM! We'll be holidaying there again this year. Thanks for a wonderful stay, guys, we'll see you in a few months. Xx

Excellent place to stay. First class service, plenty of lovely food, comfortable beds and the owners were helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend.
Delicious breakfasts, central location but away from the main noisy seafront. Bus and train station including steam trains 5 to 10 minutes walk.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

Wonderful peaceful location. Perfect place to truly relax. Selection of touring sites and pitches for tourers and campers and 18 static caravans. All very reasonably priced. Been coming here now for 35 years. Owners so friendly and wee site shop stocked with the basics. The site is a perfect short walk to the welcoming village with its post office/ general store, pubs, restaurants and beautiful 13th century church. A must do, especially if you have children is crabbing at the weir by the mill pond. A very beautiful largely undiscovered village that is highly recommended.
As ever a wonderful relaxing break. Lovely setting...spotless facilities...ideal for visiting Dartmouth Salcombe Brixham Torquay and of course Stoke Gabriel.

Beautiful place to vist, we have booked again for next year. Limited on kid activities, on the site itself for the kids there is a swimming pool, arcade, and little park. But the surrounding beaches more than make up for it there is more than one beach each with its own uniqueness and plenty to do. There is also a steam train that runs past all the beaches, i dont think this is a part of Waterside holiday park and i was not sure how to get on it but it looked beautiful. I saw a lot of reviews on the Waterside site claiming the caravans smelling like dogs but this was not the case, my caravan was beautiful and did not smell at all, we booked silver, the staff were lovely and helpful and we cannot wait to go there again.
Was an amazingly short walk from the beach. Caravans are well looked after and very spacious. Swimming pool well equiped for the kids to enjoy an after playing. Relaxing environment in the clubhouse during evening.

Super clean holiday park stunning views. Caters for all great facilities restaurant pools could go on and on but this is a very nice place to stay u wouldn't be disappointed
Very child friendly. Toilets and showers are lovely and clean. Entertainment great. Would be ideal for a soft play too 😊 Even stayed an extra night -spur of moment and we were able to keep trailer tent up the 2nd night. Lovely stay.enjoyed our time there! Defo go again.
